John P. Sammons is Chief Administrative Officer of Univar.

He joined Van Waters & Rogers, now called Univar USA Inc., in 1993 as Vice President - Corporate Communications. Most recently, he held the position of Senior Vice President - Administration, responsible for Human Resources, Information Technology, eCommerce, Communications, Learning Services, and Legal.

Mr. Sammons earned a bachelor's degree in Journalism from Seattle University and a master's degree, also in Journalism, from Ohio State University.
