Gary Pruitt is Chief Executive Officer of Univar.
He began his relationship with the company when he joined Univar Corporation in October 1978. Mr. Pruitt held a variety of senior management positions within Univar and Van Waters & Rogers Inc., now known as Univar USA Inc. In January 2002, he was appointed Chairman of Royal Vopak.
Mr. Pruitt earned his bachelor's degree from Gonzaga University and worked at Arthur Andersen & Co. as a chartered accountant from 1973 through 1977.
