Steve Nielsen serves as Univar’s Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer.

Steve Nielsen joined Univar in April 2008 as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He is a results-oriented business leader with over 20 years of progressive experience in the high technology-driven telecommunications industry.

Prior to joining Univar, Steve served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Corporate Initiatives at Sprint Nextel, where he provided financial leadership to key strategies in high-speed broadband wireless services. Previously, he served as Chief Service Officer for Sprint Nextel, as well as, Senior Vice President for finance operations, leading the financial planning, business strategy and decision support for the company and each of its business units.

Steve is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Weber State University.
